For all your outdoor needs try Windfields Measham or Millets in Burton upon Trent. Thornton Nurseries specialise in fuchsia plants and there are daily craft demonstrations at the Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold.

Local produce can be bought at farmers' markets and farm shops and you can even 'pick your own' at Cattows Farm which is great fun for all the family.
