See and Do

There's so much to do in The National Forest, everything from quiet, peaceful walks to exciting adventure parks such as Conkers and Snibston. Scattered throughout The National Forest there are country parks, a wide variety of craft and garden centres, and lots of history and heritage for you to discover.

Ashby de la Zouch is a pretty market town with an historic ruined castle which forms the backdrop to the famous jousting scenes in Sir Walter Scott's classic novel of 1819, Ivanhoe. At Burton upon Trent you'll find a world class visitor centre that celebrates the area's brewing heritage and its influence on brewing techniques.

If it's something a little different you're after, why not take a llama for a walk or try your hand at an off-road four wheel driving course?
